Booz Allen wins communications deal
Naval Air Systems Command announced it had awarded a five-year contract to Booz Allen Hamilton.
Naval Air Systems Command officials yesterday announced they had awarded a five-year contract to Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. to provide the Navy with solutions in voice, video, data and satellite communications technologies.
The contract is worth as much as $68 million over the five years, and is scheduled for completion in May 2009.
Booz Allen is the prime vendor on the deal, supported by five subcontractors. Booz Allen and its teammates will provide research, design, development, integration, installation, test and evaluation, analysis, maintenance, training and logistics support, according to a statement released yesterday by the company.
Under the contract the team will support the communications and electronics advanced technology systems requirements for the military and other federal agencies.
