Treasury buys ZyLab software
The agency is buying a six-year license for the company's document management and retrieval module.
ZyLab Technologies has sold an enterprisewide software license for $375,000 to the Treasury Department's Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
The six-year license gives the bureau's 450 employees the ability to use every document management and retrieval software module that ZyLab sells, according to company officials who announced the deal.
This month, ZyLab's records management module was certified for compliance with the mandatory 5015.2 standard for records management software developed by the Defense Department.
Also this month, the company released a visualization software module that lets users view large amounts of structured data stored in its products' document and records repositories.
