Kronos launches fed practice
The developer of human resources software is targeting agencies that rely on older systems for employee labor data, pay rules and payroll.
Officials at Kronos Inc., a developer of human resources and payroll software, have launched a dedicated federal government practice to accelerate the company's cultivation of the federal market.
The company has also added its products to the General Services Administration's schedule contract through a partner, immixTechnology, a subsidiary of immixGroup Inc.
"In today's economy, it is more important than ever for government agencies to improve productivity and reduce costs," said Dave Roth, director of vertical marketing at Kronos, in a statement. "These agencies are held to a higher standard since their budgets are reliant on tax dollars. Kronos understands the needs of this industry and is devoting the resources necessary to ensure that we are able to provide them with the solutions they need to better serve the public and meet the president's performance goals."
Kronos already has an active federal business, with customers including the Transportation Security Administration and the Argonne National Laboratory. The dedicated practice will make it easier to develop additional business, according to company officials.
