Five lines-of-business projects are under way

Finance and human resources are two of five lines-of-business consolidation efforts.The other three are case management, grants processing and health care.For the case management project, the Office of Management and Budget and the Justice and Homeland Security departments last week released a request for information about software to support case leads, evidence, resource allocation, document handling, federal records management and workflow as well as intelligence processing.Responses are due by Oct. 12. And a team is working on standards and an enterprise architecture for health care systems.
