Hawaii charts with SmartDraw

Officials at Hawaii's Department of Accounting and General Services chose SmartDraw business graphics software for mapping internal workflow processes.

Officials at the state agency responsible for automotive management, public works, construction, energy management, fire services and other state-run programs will use SmartDraw's flow charts to reorganize the department.

"We're undergoing a reorganization, so that's why we're using all these little drawings to see where to go," said Ralph Morita, chief of the planning branch of department's Public Works Division. "It's for internal analysis.
