GSA to extend Networx bid period again
Deadlines for Networx Universal and Networx Enterprise now extended to early September.
Vendors will have more time to submit proposals for the two Networx contracts, but General Services Administration officials have not announced a new date.
Notices posted yesterday on the FedBizOpps Web site state that the agency will release the new deadline dates through amendments to the formal solicitation Aug. 19.
The original deadline was Aug. 3 for Networx Universal, a contract to provide widespread network and communication services. The deadline for Networx Enterprise, which will cover more localized offerings, had been set for Aug. 5. In late June, GSA officials extended those deadlines by 30 days, making the deadlines Sept. 3 and Sept. 5.
