MCI announces Networx team
MCI's team includes Anteon, Computer Sciences Corp. and G2 Satellite Solutions.
Close on the heels of rival AT&T, MCI has announced the team of companies it has assembled in its pursuit of Networx, the broad-based telecommunications contract that the General Services Administration will award next year.
MCI will be joined by Anteon, Computer Sciences Corp., G2 Satellite Solutions, Hewlett-Packard, TeleTech Government Solutions, WilTel Communications and Verizon Wireless in making its bid.
"GSA has been forward-thinking on the Networx contracts and is offering government and agencies end-to-end solutions that require a service provider with experience at complex solutions," said Jerry Edgerton, senior vice president of MCI Government Markets and System Integrators. MCI and the other team members are well positioned to meet the challenge, he said.
