National Guard chooses Perceptive document software
ImageNow will provide access to documents and data security in support of the bureau's medical readiness initiative.
The Army National Guard Bureau has chosen Perceptive Software's ImageNow software to provide access to documents and data security in support of the bureau's medical readiness initiative.
ImageNow is an integrated document management, imaging and workflow system. The system will complement the ASM Research's Medical Operational Data System (MODS) that supports the Army Medical Department's Human Resource Life Cycle Management system.
MODS gives commanders, managers and employees at Army Medical organizations real-time information on the qualifications, training, readiness and special pay arrangements of Medical Department employees, and information on the medical readiness of soldiers in the Army, Army Reserve and the Army National Guard.
ASM Research chose Perceptive for its electronic document management solution under a commission from the Army National Guard. The commission specified that the chosen system would comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, require a minimal hardware investment and have a low lifetime cost. According to Perceptive, ImageNow was the only product evaluated that met all three criteria.
