Netco Government Services buys Multimax
The combined company, under chief executive Carlteon Jones, will retain the Multimax brand.
Netco Government Services, a network communications company for federal agencies, has acquired information technology provider Multimax, whose clients include the Defense Department and state and local governments.
The new entity will do business as Multimax, a company announcement said, and will be headquartered in Herndon, Va., with offices in other U.S. cities. Terms of the acquisition were not released.
The newly united entity is a prime contractor on the Air Force Network-Centric Solutions contract and is the main sub on the Navy Marine Corps Intranet contract, the statement said.
The purchase will expand the company’s geographic reach as well as its workforce of employees that have security clearances and technical certifications.
“With this acquisition, the united companies will have revenues over $300 million and more than 1,000 employees serving 50 states,” Carleton Jones, chief executive officer of the new Multimax, said in the statement.
John Heller will serve as president and chief operating officer.
