ADC expands federal sales program
The manufacturer of network infrastructure products and supplier to federal agencies brings Rich Towers and Rich Kent on board.
ADC, a Minneapolis-based manufacturer of copper and fiber network infrastructure products and supplier to federal agencies, has expanded its government program with the addition of Rich Towers and Rich Kent. Towers has been named director of ADC’s federal sales, and Kent will work in an advisory capacity, a company announcement states. Towers comes to ADC from Emerson Network Power’s Energy Systems business unit, where he was manager of federal government business. He has more than 27 years of experience in various executive positions including services, sales, business development and management. Kent is chief executive officer of Fedforce, a consulting firm that specializes in sales and marketing to the enterprise and federal marketplaces. He has more than 22 years of executive-level, technical marketing and federal government sales experience. Kent held various executive sales positions at Network Systems from 1987 to 1994. He also held similar positions at FORE Systems/Marconi from 1995 to 2002, including terms as president of federal operations and executive vice president for the Americas.
