Primetica has provided hands-on support for the development of the federal cloud computing plan, and his efforts led to establishing a collaborative, governmentwide approach to cloud computing decision-making.
He also was a key player in creating a multiyear strategy for the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative, including the survey the government will use to inventory federal data centers and ultimately improve efficiency and performance.
“Branko’s innate ability to balance the technical aspects of information technology with an enterprise deployment perspective has resulted in innovative and strategic approaches toward achieving the [Obama] administration’s goal of transforming the federal IT landscape into a service-oriented paradigm,” said Peter Tseronis, deputy associate chief information officer at the Energy Department and chairman of the Federal Cloud Computing Advisory Council.
