Cheating on IT certification exams reportedly on the rise
According to a survey of 200 IT professionals, 72 percent of respondents think colleagues use unauthorized exams from the Internet to prepare for certifications.
As the nation’s unemployed IT professionals become more desperate to get back into the workforce or struggle to secure a job that fits their skills, incidents of cheating on required certification tests are growing, according to a report from Network World.
Network World surveyed 200 IT professionals on IT ethics and found 72 percent of respondents think IT pros use “braindump” materials on a regular-to-frequent basis and 12 percent have directly witnessed someone cheating on a certification exam.
