Army explores e-textbook possibilities

The Army wants to harness multimedia learning with e-books that can be used on any electronic reading device, reports NextGov.com.
Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command began market research in December to explore the possibilities of e-textbooks that would work across different e-readers and desktop and mobile operating systems for the Army Cadet Command. The goal is to provide multimedia-enriched, college-level course materials across any platform so students can access them through school or personally supplied devices.
