Google scores Interior SaaS deal
The search giant gets another government cloud win, its biggest yet.
The Interior Department has awarded Google the company's biggest-ever federal cloud computing contract, Politico’s Morning Tech reports
Google Apps reseller Onix Networking Corp snagged the deal, worth around $35 million. Under the seven-year contract, Onix will provide Interior with Software-as-a-Service e-mail and collaboration services. The migration entails moving more than 90,000 email accounts to Gmail.
