SolarWinds surveyed public sector IT professionals on the technologies having the biggest impact in their agencies -- and on how often their expertise is sought by top management.
SolarWinds -- an Texas-based IT management and monitoring firm that works with a range of federal customers -- surveyed public sector IT professionals on the technologies having the greatest impact upon their agencies. They also asked respondents about their ability to play an active role in agencies' strategic business decisions as well as the frequency at which their advice was solicited. The results of their survey are listed below.
