The Air Force on May 15 announced that 20 firms had been chosen for the network operations and infrastructure solutions portion of its Network-Centric Solutions-2 contract.

The award notice said that 21 offers had been received.
The Air Force has had several setbacks with the various components of NETCENTS-2, including successful protests that forced certain portions to be recompeted.
