Video: Top 5 Ways to Improve Your Home Network
Improve the Internet, improve your life.
When a network is good, the Netflix stream is clear and living is easy. But when a home network is bad, the Internet times out and your favorite show keeps buffering to no end.
What to do? Well, the first step is to secure your Wi-Fi. If you haven't already changed the default password, your network could be vulnerable to hackers or other outsiders who could be messing with your router and slowing down the Wi-Fi.
Placement of a router is also key; a centrally located router performs much better.
And for those of you who live in more rural areas where connections are always a problem, a power line Ethernet adaptor might be just the thing to get a network up and running.
