Video: Why You Need to Update Your Facebook App Immediately
Save your phone's battery, before it's too late.
After Apple released the latest update for iPhone, iOS 9, users discovered a nasty surprise. The new operating system lets users see the exact percentage of battery life each app uses, and some were shocked to discover the Facebook app could be hogging up to 30 percent of their phone's juice. The battery hogging occurs even when the "Background App Refresh" setting is off.
Luckily, the social media giant recognizes it has a battery problem and is releasing a new and improved version of the app to help with the issue.
