All you need is your smartphone.

Passwords have their place. But even the strongest password -- we're not talking "123456" -- isn't enough to protect you from a data breach.

Two-factor authentication is the solution that not enough people are using, despite being available on many popular sites like Google and Facebook. When two-factor authentication is turned on, after a user enters their password, a verification code is sent to the user's smartphone. The user must input that unique code to finish logging on. It's a small step that makes your account much more secure.
