Millennium Challenge Corporation needs a deputy CIO

The Millennium Challenge Corporation, like most federal agencies, is looking to modernize its IT. The U.S. foreign aid agency is hiring a deputy CIO, and the ideal candidate will have experience in agile and cloud computing.

Created in 2004, the MCC's mission is to provide grants to developing countries committed to good governance and economic freedom in order to improve the lives of the world's poor.

The MCC is looking to pay $125,000.00 to $170,774.00 to a deputy CIO candidate who will "work closely with the Chief Information Officer in planning, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive information technology strategy and program for the Corporation," according to the listing on USAJobs.gov. The new deputy CIO will direct the administration of IT systems and E-gov/mission critical inter-governmental IT projects, and also make recommendations for resolving IT issues and requirements in accordance with changing and emerging technology.

Candidates must have experience delivering solutions with agile development frameworks, cloud computing and mobile technology, and experience leading non-technical customers through the application development lifecycle.
