Agencies are leveraging each other's cloud service authorization efforts -- some more than others. Here's what FedRAMP sharing looks like.
The idea of "certify once, use many times" is central to the Federal Risk Management and Authorization Program for cloud services. The sharing is not spread evenly, however. Here's how various agencies are teaming up to share and build on one another's authorization efforts:
The agencies displayed above are sharing a FedRAMP authorization with at least one other agency, or have authorized a CSP that received a provisional authority to operate from the FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board. The size of each dot reflects the number of "partners" a given agency has; click on any agency to highlight its various FedRAMP relationships.
