Update your car the way you update your phone.
Imagine you could change your car with the push of a button. Tesla owners—140,000 of them—got that option with the release of Tesla's new software interface. After a 45-minute update, users got a different feeling vehicle.
The update changed the surface-level aspects, like the music interface, but also improved on the navigational touch-screen maps.
Another key change is to Tesla's autopilot feature. Now when drivers activate autopilot, the software brings up a clear display to inform the driver-turned-passenger that the autopilot system is active, which was a previous concern with Tesla vehicles.
