Video: What Chatting in Virtual Reality Looks Like
Oculus could change the way we do conference calls.
The future of telework could lie in a virtual reality headset. At the recent Oculus Connect Conference, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg debuted a live social platform for virtual reality, called a VR Chat.
Inside the chat, participants have an avatar that can display different moods, depending on what you choose with the VR controller. In the future, however, the avatar's facial expressions might generate based on the tone of the conversation.
Users can also take a video call from a smartphone inside the VR chat. Everyone participating in the chat can see the video call, and the caller can see into the virtual reality world.
And while you're waiting for that video call, you can always play a game of virtual reality cards.
