Video: How to Make More Room on Your Android Device
More room could mean more apps.
Need to download something to your Android smartphone and your storage is full? It's time to reclaim some space.
First, clear the cache. Each app will keep data to load things faster for the next time they're opened, and this takes up storage. Users should also delete all unnecessary downloads. Find the downloads folder or My Files and delete everything you don't need.
If you haven't already, set up automatic photo backup to Google Photos, and then get rid of those old photos from your device. To speed things up, go to Settings and then Free Up Device Storage, and it will delete all photos and files that haven't been backed up.
