David Drabkin is the new deputy associate administrator for acquisition policy at the General Services Administration's Office of Governmentwide Policy. Drabkin, who began his new job Monday, most recently served as the deputy program manager for the Defense Department's $3.4 billion Pentagon Renovation Project. At GSA Drabkin will be responsible for providing the overall management framework for the GSA procurement system.
Harold Gracey, the outgoing chief information officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs, this week joins FedBid.com as vice president of government affairs. The Germantown, Md.-based company calls itself the first Web-based service that facilitates credit card purchases for open-market business-to-government commerce.

Deidre Lee, former head of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, started her new job as the Pentagon's director of procurement this week. Lee replaces Eleanor Spector, who retired in February. Lee will manage DOD procurement policies, direct the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council and develop policy for contract pricing and financing, administration, international contracting, and training of DOD contracting personnel. A replacement for Lee has not been named.
Scott Truver was recently promoted to vice president of Center for Security Strategies and Operations at Anteon Corp. He will continue to support key Defense Department military strategic planning initiatives.
James Kane, former vice president for business solutions at DynCorp Information Systems LLC, was named president and chief executive officer of Federal Sources Inc. last month. FSI is a market research company that provides government information technology procurement data.
