Systems Consultants Inc., a public-sector integrated solutions provider,

and Blue Angel Technologies Inc., an Internet technology developer, last

week announced a strategic partnership to help Web-enable services for governments

organizations.

SCI and Blue Angel combined their expertise to develop iEnvision, a

portal where the public can access information or communicate with government

officials and employees. It also enables people to perform transactions

such as paying taxes, applying for a building permit or changing an address.

Jack Sharp, chairman and chief executive officer at St. Louis-based

SCI, said iEnvision will connect with existing third-party, back-office

data systems without disruption. He added that customers will have the option

of installing different parts of the solution, depending on their needs,

resources and budgets.

SCI will provide the public-sector contacts and expertise, while Blue

Angel will offer its designs for the seamless integration of the Web-enabled

tools.
