Anteon Corp. and Information Builders have announced a strategic partnership focused on providing egovernment solutions
E-business enabler Anteon Corp. and Information Builders, a provider of
Web-based business platforms, announced a strategic partnership Monday focused
on providing agencies with e-government solutions.
Fairfax, Va.-based Anteon supplies myriad civilian and defense agencies
with electronic business and system integration services and specializes
in database development and data mining.
By integrating Information Builders' WebFocus product and others services
into e-government offerings, Anteon is hoping to further expand in the federal,
state and local government markets, said Joseph Kampf, president and chief
executive officer at Anteon.
WebFocus is an integrated suite of business intelligence tools and middleware
designed to deliver information to users easily and instantly over the Internet.
It also enables users to integrate data throughout an organization.
New York-based Information Builders also recently launched an "i-government"
suite of applications designed to solve common information access and reporting
problems.
Anteon and Information Builders are each targeting Internet-related
opportunities in the government market and are hoping to benefit from each
other's strengths in software and systems engineering, integration, business
intelligence, reporting and content delivery, Kampf said.
The partnership with Information Builders is part of Anteon's partnership
program focused on the e-government market. The company's previous alliances
include partnerships with IBM Corp., Siemens Corp. and Oracle Corp., he
said.
