Roster Change

Retired Brig. Gen. Regner Rider joined Veridian on Nov. 1 as vice president for command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C3ISR) programs. He will help the company expand its presence in the C3ISR domain.

Rider, who retired Oct. 1, was deputy director of ISR at the Air Force. In that position, he was the principal adviser to the director for all Air Force reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence, electronic warfare and information warfare capabilities. Previously, he was vice commander of 8th Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base, La.

Dale McCloskey recently was appointed federal sales manager at OKENA Inc. McCloskey was formerly federal account manager for Network Associates Inc. OKENA will launch its introductory product, security software designed to prevent damage from file and network attacks, during the first quarter of 2001.

Watkins is a former regional food service administrator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and the move is designed to aid the company's push into the penal institution market.
