Need help developing a human resources system? The Office of Personnel Management has launched a follow-on contract designed to help agencies do just that.

OPM issued a request for proposals this month for its Training and Management Assistance program. The contract will provide a pool of pre-approved companies that agencies can hire to develop training and strategic human resources management solutions.

These solutions include technology-based training products, knowledge management systems, human resources system development and integration, and performance management. The majority of projects offered under the contract will center around or incorporate learning technology, according to OPM.

Although it's unclear how many contractors will apply or win representation under the contract, 15 companies are on the current TMA contract, which expires Sept. 30. They are:

Analysis and Technology Inc. Booz-Allen & Hamilton Inc. C2 Multimedia Inc. ELF Inc. General Physics Federal Systems Inc. Human Technology Inc. HumRRO (Human Resources Research Organization) PerformTech Inc. PowerTrain Inc. Litton PRC Inc. Science Applications International Corp. Star Mountain Inc. The Learning Group Corp. Universal Systems Inc. WordPro Inc. OPM plans to have the new contractors in place by Oct. 1.
