PIMS objectives

* Strengthen bilateral relations between the United States and partner countries.

* Provide a common infrastructure to increase the mission effectiveness of multiple programs.

* Promote the cooperative development of advanced database capabilities for improved access to — as well as manipulation, dissemination and handling of defense-related information from the United States and other Partnership for Peace countries.

* Provide an automated means for common access to information, communications, connectivity and data manipulation.

* Share the costs of such a system by having only one system.

* Provide the potential for integrating the management of separate but overlapping programs.
