OMB expands its e-gov team

The Office of Management and Budget has put the final pieces of the leadership puzzle in place for its 24 e-gov initiatives. OMB recently named four e-gov portfolio managers:Womer, a former OMB policy analyst, helped agencies adhere to the Government Paperwork Elimination Act. Frater previously was a staff member of the Federal Geographic Data Committee, where he helped agencies use Extensible Markup Language. Anderson and Galvan came from industry: Anderson worked at IBM Corp., and Galvan ran his own consulting company.The portfolio managers will work with the project team leaders to assure the 24 initiatives meet the e-gov milestones recently set by OMB.
