Justice awards INS task order to KPMG
The Justice Department has chosen KPMG Peat Marwick of New York to provide project management office support services for the entry exit data system, the government’s proposed system to track information about persons coming in and out of the country.
The Justice Department has chosen KPMG Consulting Inc. of New York to provide project management office support services for the entry exit data system, the government’s proposed system to track information about people coming in and out of the country.Under the contract, KPMG will help Justice prepare for contracting and implementing the design and building the system. In ensuing phases, Justice will award contracts to develop the system.The administration has requested $362 million for the Entry Exit Program for fiscal 2003. Justice plans to deploy it at about 300 U.S. ports of entry by 2005.
