Improving USAJobs is part of the E-Recruitment e-government initiative the agency is managing ().The RFP follows a request for information OPM issued in June for the online federal job site. The RFI asked vendors to streamline how users find vacancies, enhance online resume submission and allow applicants to track the status of their resumes through the entire hiring process.The agency in late September also plans to announce the two or three agency federal payroll systems that will consolidate 18 disparate systems, the spokesman said. OPM in May issued a request for responses to agencies as a part of the E-Payroll e-government project it also is managing.
