Bush names Forman to head White House E-Gov office

President Bush yesterday announced that Mark Forman, the Office of Management and Budget’s associate director for IT and e-government, will be appointed the administrator of the White House Office of E-Government.The E-Government Act of 2002, which Bush signed into law in December, requires OMB to create the office to codify the management of e-government and IT. Forman’s job likely will change little except for the title and the permanency of it. Bush appointed Forman to his current job in June 2001.
