Demographics

The questions help assess where the person works.

Competencies

Questions seek to measure knowledge, skills, abilities, behaviors and other characteristics that an individual needs to perform work successfully. The questions ask users to rate themselves. An example of some of the questions:

* Rate your knowledge of tools, equipment and technologies designed to help individuals with disabilities use computer equipment and software.

* Rate your proficiency in the principles and methods of cost-benefit analysis.

* Rate your knowledge of the principles and methods of Internet technologies, tools and delivery systems, including Internet security, privacy policies and user interface issues.

Certifications

This section includes questions relating to professional certifications that employees obtained within the past three years.

Information technology skills

The fourth set of questions relate to IT skills that employees possess and use. Users are asked to rate their proficiency in each skill.

Activities

This section surveys a partial listing of typical activities for IT workers. Users are asked to indicate the amount of time they spend on a daily basis performing specialized job activities.
