The Agriculture Department will look to its customers, vendors and employees as it plans and implements technology.The department today published a that early next year it will establish a Technology and E-Government Advisory Council. The council will advise Agriculture’s CIO Office on how to improve operations and planning for technology and e-government projects. The department plans for the nine-member panel to meet quarterly to discuss USDA technology issues. Agriculture will begin accepting nominations for the council Nov. 15.
