Missouri City buys ImageWare system
The Texas municipality will use the company's digital booking and investigation package.
Missouri City Policy Department
Officials from ImageWare Systems Inc. on Monday announced that the Missouri City, Texas Police Department would be implementing the company's digital booking and investigation Crime Capture System (CCS).
The new system will capture, store, and retrieve criminal images and data. This will allow officers to more quickly create photo lineups and mug books. ImageWare's product will replace the department's existing mug shot system.
Officers will be able to capture detailed images in the field and include supplementary text information. The department's existing Records Management System will also automatically feed images and data into CSS.
The ImageWare solution for the department will also include the company's Web-based interface, allowing investigators to access the system remotely.
