DigitalNet to support Trilogy center

The FBI contract is worth up to $7.6 million.

The FBI has selected DigitalNet LLC to support the Enterprise Operations Center that monitors and administers systems in the bureau's Trilogy modernization program.

DigitalNet designs, builds and manages enterprise network computing solutions. The delivery order includes a seven-month base period with two one-year options worth up to $7.6 million. DigitalNet's senior vice president, Gina Abate, declined to comment further on the company's work or the nature of the center.

The Enterprise Operations Center is part of the Trilogy project to upgrade the bureau's outdated information technology infrastructure and applications. The center, slated to be operational this spring, will manage data, network, hardware, software applications and security access, FBI Director Robert Mueller told a House Appropriations subcommittee last month.
