Federal information and records managers want to have their say in federal enterprise architecture.
Federal information and records managers want to have their say in the management transformation that is taking place in government. But getting a bigger voice has not been easy.
"This has been a real challenge," said Michael Kurtz, an assistant archivist at the National Archives and Records Administration, who spoke at today's meeting of the Federal Information and Records Managers (FIRM) Council.
Kurtz said the policies, procedures and technologies for managing electronic records must be integrated into what has become an important document for managing information technology
