Anteon gets Navy contract
The company will provide services for evaluating ship survivability.
The Navy has awarded a $15.5 million contract for engineering and technical services to Anteon Corp.
The five-year contract calls for work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), in Bethesda, Md., to provide services for evaluating ship survivability.
The contract covers support for surface ship and submarine acquisition, construction and research. Anteon will design and conduct underwater explosion shock analyses of vessels and their design components, according to company officials.
