The new CIO, Craig Ballam, has been the acting chief information officer since the start of the year.
GTSI Corp. has appointed Craig Ballam to be its new chief information officer.
Ballam, who joined the company in January 2003 as deputy CIO, has been acting CIO since the beginning of 2004.He has been helping to reorganize and refocus GTSI's information technology organization since the company hired him. His emphasis on serving customers has helped the organization become more tightly integrated with the company's technology teams and improve customer satisfaction, GTSI officials said.
Before joining GTSI, Ballam was chief business analyst for The Titan Corp. He has also been a small business owner and has worked in executive roles at Brog Inc., a company that sold and operated vending machines.
