Anteon gets Defense contract

The U.S. Joint Forces Command awarded a $29 million contract for a Joint Advanced Training Technology Laboratory.

The U.S. Joint Forces Command has awarded a $29 million contract to design, establish and maintain a Joint Advanced Training Technology Laboratory to Anteon International Corp., company officials announced today.

The laboratory will provide the ability to evaluate and refine training technologies, standards, architectures and capabilities before they become part of the Global Joint Training Infrastructure environment, Anteon officials said.

Anteon will provide information technology and engineering support services in modeling and simulation, joint command and control and intelligence surveillance, and reconnaissance systems. The company also will contribute IT security, database design and other technology components.
