Drabkin to leave GSA

He will join the State Department's Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator.

David Drabkin is leaving the General Services Administration to join the State Department's Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator.

Drabkin and State Department officials declined to elaborate on the move, but he announced it internally Sept. 9, according to sources close to GSA.

Drabkin, who joined GSA in 2000, serves as deputy chief acquisition officer. It was not clear when the change will occur.
