Drabkin to stay at GSA
GSA's deputy chief acquisition officer has turned down an offer from the State Department.
David Drabkin has decided to stay on as deputy chief acquisition officer at the General Services Administration, opting to turn down an offer from the State Department.
Drabkin had told GSA colleagues last week in an e-mail that he would be taking a position in State's Office of the Global AIDS coordinator. But in an e-mail today to Federal Computer Week, he said he had chosen to stay with GSA.
Drabkin did not explain his reasons in the e-mail and could not be reached for further comment.
