Alphasight lands Army deals

Officials at AlphaInsight Corp. announced they received a $2 million task order for applications development and an $850,000 task order for audit and governance services under the Army's newly awarded, multimillion-dollar Information Management Support Center (Imcen) contracts.

Officials at the Army's Defense Contracting Command in Washington, D.C., announced earlier this month they awarded contracts worth up to $334 million to six companies to vie for information technology work in Imcen at the Pentagon. They issued indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts to the firms in three areas: applications development, audit and governance services, and strategic analysis.

AlphaInsight received contracts in two of the three areas, said Vish Varma, vice president for corporate development at the company. The five other winning firms include:

Applications development:

AlphaInsight: $78 million.

MicroPact Engineering Inc.: $91 million.

Pragmatics Inc.: $117.6 million.

Audit and governance services:

Addx Corp.: $20.4 million.

AlphaInsight: $7.4 million.

Strategic analysis

Daston Corp.: $10.6 million.

Focused Management Inc.: $19.4 million.
