The Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers launched a Web portal to help operators of federal buildings comply with EPA standards.

The new site has information about air emission sources, cleanup sites, construction zones, drinking water treatment, facility infrastructure, grounds maintenance and hazardous waste storage. FedCenter.gov replaces EPA's FedSite.

The federal government operates 32,000 facilities on property that totals 30 percent of the country.
