Navy puts all coursework on one site

The Navy's E-Learning distance learning system has moved to the Navy Knowledge Online Web portal.

Navy E-Learning, the service’s official distance learning system, has migrated to the Navy Knowledge Online Web portal, putting all coursework under one site.The move makes it easier for sailors to access free educational courses, a Navy release said.“The Navy uses the Navy Knowledge Online portal as the single-source entry in order to provide learning anytime, anywhere in the world,” said Terry Williams, who is part of the Naval Education and Training Command’s Integrated Learning Environment program support team.Navy E-Learning launches, tracks and manages more than 3,966 courses for roughly 1.2 million active-duty sailors, Marines, civilians, reservists, retirees and family members enrolled in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System.
