CSC gets TSA contract

TSA will pay $16 million for adjudication support services.

Transportation Security Administration officials have awarded a $16 million contract to Computer Sciences Corp. to provide adjudication support services.

CSC will support TSA's Office of Transportation Vetting and Credentialing, which conducts threat assessments for commercial truck drivers trying to get licensed to haul hazardous materials.

CSC will provide personnel who will assist TSA officials in processing the necessary documentation for such license applications, according to a CSC announcement. The company and subcontractor Trinity Technology Group will provide about 40 people.
