EDS wins Wisconsin Medicaid system deal
Wisconsin has tapped the company to build and run a new Medicaid system under a seven-year, $189.1 million contract.
Wisconsin has awarded EDS Corp. a seven-year, $189.1 million contract for a new Medicaid system.EDS will develop and implement the system for the Wisconsin Health and Family Services Department. The company has Medicaid support contracts in 17 states.EDS also will continue running Wisconsin’s decision support system and data warehouse, immunization registry, encounter data system, and lien, estate and affidavit processor workflow system.The contract has a two-year development and implementation period followed by a five-year management term.
