Stephan proposed for DHS job
Robert Stephan has been nominated to be an assistant secretary and designated as an acting undersecretary, too.
President Bush has nominated Robert Stephan to take twin leadership roles in the Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection Directorate of the Homeland Security Department, White House officials announced last week.
The president would like Stephan to serve as assistant secretary for infrastructure protection and acting undersecretary for information analysis and infrastructure protection.
Stephan currently serves as special assistant to DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff. Before that, he was senior director for critical infrastructure protection in the White House’s Office of Homeland Security, the precursor to DHS.
